Subject: Contraversial information on page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visoko,_Bosnia_and_Herzegovina
Dear Mr. Topher:
I want to file a complaint againts this page content:
Main article: Bosnian pyramids
Visočica is a hill overlooking the town of Visoko. In October 2005, Bosnian native and author Semir Osmanagić claimed that this hill and several
surrounding hills concealed pyramids .
Scientific investigations of the site show there is no pyramid. Additionally, scientists have criticised the Bosnian authorities for supporting
the pyramid claim saying, "This scheme is a cruel hoax on an unsuspecting public and has no place in the world of genuine science."
Bosnian archaeologists have asked that the government cancel the digging permits given to Osmanagić and concentrate on work on the medieval
As I find it incomplete, inaccurate and misleading. Theme of Bosnian pyramids is quite controversial, and either side in dispute has its sound arguments. Excavations are on the way, and until its excavated all bets are off, if I may say so. It would be correct if you put arguments of both sides on this page of yours. You have put only one side arguments as this as if there is no pyramids, and all excavation is hoax?? By putting only one argument side you are stepping one step further from the truth, and independent journalism, as you take sides in the dispute, which is quite unprofessional. It’s against principles of sound and neutral informing public, as you this site pretend to have public service mission.
Please, correct this article as soon as it is practical by giving other side of the arguments, because there are plenty… pick one.
Also, it would be civilized of you to put the title of Mr. Osmanagic in front of his name. It is common courtesy when you publicly announce man with a PhD title. He has PhD in History, acquired in USA, so you should know better these things. It can be checked and verified easily.
Please keep me posted on changes and inform me on further steps you are going to undertake.
